A Few FAQs
-
An album, in my view, is the best medium for this type of long-form photographic storytelling. Rather than viewing your photos individually on a screen, an album weaves them together into a cohesive narrative—showing the connections, emotions, and moments as they unfolded. It allows you to experience your family’s story as it was meant to be told: page by page, in a way that feels timeless and immersive. This isn’t just a collection of images; it’s your family’s story brought to life in a format that invites reflection and connection for years to come.
The number of pages for each album is roughly 20 for a Short Story, 30 for a Half Day, and 40 for a Full Day with each page featuring a single photograph, allowing your eyes to take in each moment equally.

While I focus a lot on quality over quantity, in general I aim to deliver roughly 100 for a Short Story, 150 for a Half Day, and 200 for a Full Day — all in high resolution format.

For those families that would like to have a few more traditional, posed photos included, I set aside 15 minutes during the session to make sure we get those taken care of.

Yes! For families outside San Francisco but within driving distance, there is a travel fee of $1/mile.

I offer the packages I do because I believe they provide the best experience for capturing your family’s story—from the length of the session to the inclusion of an archival-quality album. Each package is designed to give us ample time to let moments unfold naturally and to ensure I can document the full richness of your family’s life. That said, I understand that every family is different, and I’m flexible to a degree. I’m happy to work with each family on a case-by-case basis to ensure the session fits your unique needs, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have specific requests or ideas. My goal is to create the best possible experience for you, tailored to your family’s individual story.

Similar to the session itself, the post-processing is not a rushed affair. I dedicate as much time as I feel necessary to put the story together and edit the images appropriately. That said, the turnaround on average is anywhere from three to six weeks, depending on the session type and the number of photos I made during the session.

My sessions are longer than traditional family photography sessions because they’re designed to capture your family’s real, unfiltered story in a non-rushed, natural way.
Instead of hurrying through a set of poses, we let our time together unfold naturally, giving everyone the chance to feel comfortable and at ease. This extra time allows me to document the genuine connections and important details that make your family unique.
While the idea of spending two, four, or even eight hours might sound like a lot, the time passes quickly as you go about your day. By the end, you’ll have a collection of meaningful, authentic memories that truly reflect your family’s life together.
“Anthony created such a chill, laid back vibe when he spent four hours taking photos of our family. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend who also happened to be taking photos of us. He really captured what feels like the essence of our family in the photos - a true day in the life! I wholeheartedly recommend his skills. We will cherish the photos for a lifetime.”
